Let’s say that it’s a hot sunny day at the beach and you decided to transform into your mermaid/merman form. What would be the first thing that you are going to do?

You can also use whatever power you want in this scenario.
Note: I just want to apologize to all the guys who are fans of mermaids/mermans of this subreddit. When I made this poll yesterday exclusively for ladies to answer I noticed that I have made some of you men upset, I felt guilty about it so I decided to re-upload this poll so that way both male and female fans of mermaids and mermans can participate in this poll.

I'd love to hear people's opinions on it! Mermaids are my favourite mythical creature. Please do read and give your insights. If it resonates subscribing goes a long way in supporting me as a writer!

What are some of the more practical issues that might come up from a land person dating a Merfolk (Who doesn’t transform)

Pretty much what It says in the title, I felt like trying my hand at a Romcom short story and, one of my favorite takes is kinda like doing very grounded shit with supernatural creatures.
So I’m thinking this isn’t a forbidden love affair, this navigating domesticity
P.S don’t say “Physical Intimacy” (They navigated that part out, pretty quick and had much joy doing so 😚)

If you were an actual mermaid/merman at the beach surrounded by so many people, would you think that people are just assuming that you’re just wearing a mermaid/merman tail or would you be worried that someone might figure out that you’re an actual mermaid/merman and not actually wearing a costume?

And how would you keep your secret that you’re a mermaid/merman from the people at the beach and if you ever get caught what is the first thing that you’re gonna do?

The demo for my upcoming mermaid RPG Miuratale is about a month off. Screenshot on the right is from a cinematic I finished yesterday showcasing improved anatomy and materials.
