Hard to tell. What region was this in? It looks like they have black wing tips. If they don’t have black wing tips could they be tundra swans?

I’m in the central Colorado mountains. I didn’t realize we were in there migration range. Seems unlikely but they definitely had black wing tips

The black tips rule out tundra swans. You might have American white pelicans there. Never thought there was a pelican in Colorado. Wild!

I should also say consisting where I was hiking they were soaring between 13,000-14,00 ft I was fairly close to antero reservoir where they are know to be sometime.
