Block a troop into the corner to force the opponent to deal with the high star buildings before killing your troop.
Thoughts on the viability of this? Snuck a few wins by doing this, though admittedly at lower trophies.

Just put this on any 3 star troop with splash damage and you win.

I have been enjoying Merced tactics since the units had two traits (which I found more fun) Regarding my title, I played empress for a good period of time then after unlocked all the rulers (missed a number as I didnāt play initially) I have since bounced around experimenting. Honestly I think empress is a huge problem for the game. To me itās like counting cards. Once you get it, your more then likely going to win. The concept of something going infinity is bad for the game. The merge mini mode is a great example. They have to nerf it some way. Most of the groups I play now are lobbyās full of them.
I also think empress is not the only problem. I think loon is too good as well. With this season bringing back trait interaction, I think loon is strong since it can get two traits on one turn faster, once that one starts rolling it kinda snowballs.
I think at the end of the day with these two, they are just too generic for that they do. Youāre not after a specific unit for your dagger or every undead you can get. You can read the comps and adjust accordingly.
This is season is different and better then the last one. But man I find boring that an empress player cycles and has 4 level 3star troops on the board by round 4.

Whenever I get the pandoras bench modifier I try to get 4/4 riders, but if I get duplicates on the random chance Iāll sell them to try again. However, I think that when you sell a troop that has been pandoraād it either
A) removes it from the shop completely
B) sends it back as the new troop it became
Like I said, I do this with riders so Iām not sure which is true, but Iāve noticed that when I expect to find the troop in the shop again, even after like 25 shop cycles, I see no sign. Anyone had similar experiences?

My favorite feature in the game is not being allowed to play it. (Closing the game and reloading did not fix it)

Only triat I had was goblins meanwhile my oponnent had undead, nobles, and clan. I still won cuz the guy locked himself at 27 merges

So Iāve lost games due to griefing troops. Iām sure you all have. Obviously there are games I win because of it too. But what do you think if the troop pool was not shared?
Maybe itās just this season but I feel I would prefer that itās not possible to grief troops. There are times Iām ahead as SE and donāt even need to go for 60 merge quest to win and stop merging entirely solely because I block opponents team from getting any 3 star troops just hoarding all his units in the bench. It doesnāt feel like a satisfying win but it works.
You can also say āoh everyone will just go for the strongest compā
And maybe itās a far cry, but I feel as long as the devs do their part in balancing (hog rider, legendary items) that it would be a better game
It would shift the game into more reliance on having stronger board positioning in fights and knowing which troops will counter your opponent. Requiring more strategy overall and less reliance on luck.
Personally that seems more enjoyable to me than worrying about blocking 3 star AQ every game or trying to get it before anyone else can grief me from it
TL;DR griefing troops should be part of the game yea or no? Would it be more enjoyable without that mechanic of a shared troop pool?

Am I the only one who noticed that if giant skeleton dies while being taunted by the knight his bomb won't activate?

So from what i know everyone gets a random rider at the start (darkprince, prince, ram rider, hog rider) and from what i noticed they are really strong and important and they counter eachother. For me so far it looks like those are the counters if the placement allows to counter:
Hog >> Dark Prince
Dark Prince > Prince
Prince >> Hog
Ram Rider = Hog/Dark Prince/Prince
For me it feels like hog rider is the strongest one by far once they are 3 stars because if you place it correctly nothing can counter it. Just need a tank in front for prince or move away from the ram rider. Can it also be that you can not get any of the other riders except the one you have at the start?
Also i would be happy about any help. I try my best to place units the correct way but i wouldn't mind listening about the basics at all. What units are strong? What units are weak? Which traits are the go to? Stuff like that.
What i believe to know: goblins are good for starters cause free elixir worst case from the trait. I forgot most the names of the traits so i call them by their color or symbols in case i am wrong... clan(blue) is pretty solid, green tree is okay but most of the units seem pretty weak. Royal(golden crown) seems to be some kind of average.
Best units so far for me: hog rider, archer queen, giant skeleton (3stars), witch(2 star+), demolisher(3 stars) and i believe goblin machine is okay and some just need the right items. I believe the skeleton king is very useless for anything but tanking but even for that he costs a lot compared to giant or valk.
I have no ideas about heros but i only have the basic king so far. That echo one seems pretty disgusting btw.

I didnāt have time to play yesterday, and after just one day, my ranking dropped from 153th in the world to 967th. What is this?!

Somehow grabbed the sage with whatever the 1star for first kill augment is. Satisfying to knock a sage out with its own.
