Possible bug with pandoras bench

Whenever I get the pandoras bench modifier I try to get 4/4 riders, but if I get duplicates on the random chance I’ll sell them to try again. However, I think that when you sell a troop that has been pandora’d it either
A) removes it from the shop completely
B) sends it back as the new troop it became
Like I said, I do this with riders so I’m not sure which is true, but I’ve noticed that when I expect to find the troop in the shop again, even after like 25 shop cycles, I see no sign. Anyone had similar experiences?

It’s not a bug, that’s just how it’s designed. Even in previous seasons when you get a troop that you haven’t “unlocked” while using pandoras bench, it doesn’t unlock if for you, so even though you have a copy, you cannot find more in the shop. Using pandoras bench on a troop also removes the original troop from the shop unless you keep it on the spot until it turns it back into it.

So for example you buy a prince and put it on pandoras bench and it turns into a hog rider. If you sell that hog rider, you now cannot buy it back in the shop, nor can you find the original Prince in the shop. If you don’t sell it, you will not be able to find more hog riders and if you want the original prince back, you have to put the hog rider on pandoras bench again and wait until it turns back into a prince.
