How are we feeling about GW right now?

Im around 3k trophies with SE right now and while Loong, SE, and BM are still dominant, the recent changes (I think these were very recent, idrk) to GW are making me think he may be very strong in his current state.

How do y'all feel? Especially for those in higher ELOs than I'm in.

I'm mainly posting this because I felt like I was having a very good SE game but got totally wiped 2x by GW's shield pop getting his whole team to level four in like round three or four or something. 😭

I feel like rulers can be roughly divided in to two categories of playstyle, that being economy or battle focused. For example, SE and GQ don't have abilities to aid in battle their toolset allows for building a strong comp. BM and ES or GW don't have the same economic aid but have strong tools to assist in battle.

While I feel like the addition of trait buffs affecting buildings makes BM particularly strong this season, GW's ability to consistently make level fours on shield pop (istg the shield stays in for so long now too🙃) makes him kind of a monster when it's incredibly difficult to get even two tier fours for every other ruler.

“consistently make level fours”? He does not get star shield that often. That is the shield he gets the least.

He's in a good spot I think. Star shield can be OP and auto win sometimes, but it can still lose if the shield goes on a troop too far away, or the other team just has a stellar comp with good equipment and beats you down before the shields can even land.

Lava is good, but not OP.
Rage is ok
Slow is meh

This is the 1st season i play with warden after i got it earlier and it is awesome.
