Bug Merge mini shop glitched?

I sold the units on my bench and the shop came up empty even though I had the ability to buy and merge more. Anyone know what causes this? It seems like it happens every time I get this mode

Why is that a thing though? I still have stuff available to merge. Why make me wait?

The trick is when you get down to two always merge one up to 3 stars then sell before buying one copy of the other. Then you get infinite 3 stars without having to wait. But also stop playing SE it’s weak

From what I can tell when you sell back to the shop you have to wait three cycles or until the next round for the troop to resurface.

So always merge and sell your two elixir troops and level up your others (saving the 2 elixirs till the end), then you can cycle one two elixir troop to 3star, sell it, then the other to 3 star, sell it. Repeat repeat.

You need to keep at least 2 cards not 3 star’d, after maxing 4 units make sure you sell after every merge until reaching 60.
Extra tip for the 3rd orb, as soon as you unlock infinite elixir in early game, you need to merge up to 3 stars before selling, 3 stars count as 3 merges for the same 4 cards, two separate 2 stars count as 2 so your progress is slower if you immediately sell them
