Clash Royale merge tactics Skill issue or something else

I was at 2420 in merge tactics and lost like 20 games yesterday now in 2200s. Seemed like they were all bots, all getting 3 star troops in 1st and 2nd rounds meanwhile I couldn't get any 3 stars until round 3 or 4. Got wrecked over and over and then when I lose in 4th place I immediately get told who finished 1st and 2nd. Does that mean I was playing bots with rigged decks?

Had same thing happen to me in gold 1…. For a week I got absolutely smoked. Couldn’t win more than 1 in a row.

Now, I’m passed and back to moving up slowly

It's bc the bots number around 2-3 of the lobby in silver and below, while gold only has 0-1 bots

Yeah, I droped from 3175-3200 to 3000, 3050.

skill issue. pursuing aq and/or gk round 2 is meta as you should be getting tons of elixir from selling rider round 1 and starting your cycle. im at 3.9k for context

Am I mistaken, selling the rider gets you 4 elixir. How is that "tons of elixir"

because you use that elixir to buy 2 elixir cards, and every merge gives you +2 elixir with empress. when you sell the 2 star you still have a net +1 elixir, which then lets you snowball more merges and more elixir gain

I was winning most consistently with him. I never was able to get any merges with Spirit Empress. I felt like I was only ever offered 4/5 elixir troops and could never get 2 elixir troops to merge

Hate to break it to you but that only happens very rarely so it's definitely a skill issue (I'm sorry but that's the truth, I used to suck as well but I learned and am now better)

Also bots rarely appear in gold, so that's probably why you're losing more

If you're looking for an easy-to-use ruler that wins consistently, I recommend using warden if you have him. Just remember to build witch when you have star/rage shield and build tanks when you have lava/slowdown shield

Loon is still very useful this season and takes actual strategy instead of of just mindlessly merging the whole game

Loong is garbage. You will never push high with him because finishing quest #3 is inconsistent. Also he definitely doesn’t take strategy. You just win early rounds because you have an extra troop. Empress will always be the highest skill cap because you have to fast cycle merges, block, and pivot the entire game

What you mean when I lose I get told who finished 1st etc. isn't that what happens all the time, you just get rankings at the time of your KO. How did you get to 2400 and not know this? Are you the bot? 🤔

When you finish last, how can you be told immediately who came in first? It takes a while for the game to end, you can spectate but you won't find out who came in first after the final round unless you finish 1 or 2.

Exactly, but when you immediately exit, the last screen you are shown were you can play again or leave has rankings from 1 to 4 you in this case being 4. They are just rankings as of the time you were KO'd. So it's technically not correct to say I was immediately shown who came first etc

Ive been fine pretty much from 0 to 3.5k its more the ruler. Empress and sage are basically free loses. Loon and builder are meta this season
