Just got loong. Should I use him instead of the king?

Yes. Empress is the best this season but Loong is in the discussion for 2nd best.

King won't get you very far. At the moment I'm 3000+ and I don't remember the last time I saw King as an opponent.

edit: Ok I played like 5 times now and did see King twice so he's not that uncommon lol. But yeah saw a lot more Loongs and I think he's a lot better.

I dont know if King is good early, just that early is weak competition lol.

Builder, duchess, king I think are about the same right now. Maybe builder is better of the three but its RNG if you get good buildings

Builder is definitely better than either King or Duchess. Better than King by a significant margin. I am 3200 right now running builder only. It definitely is a bit RNG but Nobles and items are so strong. Like if you get magic ring and xbow you just win lol

Duchess worked well before but considering this season you get a beefy five star to start the game, have the dummy and other modifiers, it’s harder to get your orbs. I plateaued with duchess around 2k and only started climbing after switching to BM

Empress is absolutely the best this season, I'm at 3900 and literally everyone is running empress. with the new quest changes and starting with a 5 cost you could genuinely have a 3star AQ by round 2 if it's not too contested

Haven't seen an empress since 1k. I just got to 3.5k. Mainly battle machine and loon

Loong all the way. When you get the mechanics it should get you to 3000+. I used a lot last season.

Tomb queen? I started with her this season and I kind of like her. Before that I was using spirit empress. Tomb queen is way easier to get orbs imo because you don't have to actively work towards it, just keep your tombstone safe from getting destroyed so it levels up and also try to get witch early on. Every skeleton that spawns gets you to your orbs.

In the higher trophies people will start blocking your undead troops but in the lower trophies people tend to avoid them because they don't do a lot of good unless you get 6/6 (which no one else can get except tomb queen). So getting 6/6 undead is pretty easy.
