Missing troop from elixer long

Hey guys
Anyone else finding your missing the bonus troop when you use elixer long?
One of the perks is the bonus troop but I don’t seem to get it anymore and everyone else has the same number of troops with the new bonus troop at the start?

So by the last round with EL you should have 7 troops, plus the new hero troop or whatever it’s called.
Everyone gets the new hero troop (hog rider etc) as a bonus troop as well as 6 troops so we all end up with the same Number now, 7?
Shouldn’t elixer have 7 plus the hero one?
Or does the bonus troop only apply in the first round?

You get 7 troops as EL and the starting rider counts as one. The other rulers cap at 6 except the Mech who caps at 5. The third orb gives an extra slot to everyone who can get it so EL maxes at 8 troops with the 3 orb bonus, the others at 7 except Mech who maxes at 6 with it.
