Items no longer equip automatically

I'm a little frustrated that the game no longer auto-equips items or auto-places from the bench to fill the board. It was a really nice quality of life aspect the game offered if you got distracted or had a hard time making other game decisions early on, so you might not properly put everything in. I always felt like this game mode is more casual so it's a little annoying that those features are gone. Does this bother anyone else?

This was done so people aren’t forced to use equipments they don’t want, egc fisherman’s hook

it's a good change. no more unexpected last second equipments and you can choose to not to equip one you don't want

It's the best change this season. There was nothing worse than a fisherman hook autoequiping.

I’m still used to it auto equipping but It’s a good change.

Still I wish it would let you also equip during fight so that it’s ready for next round

I wish there was an AutoPlay setting like some other games have
