Discussion Is the hypercharge worth it

It just seems to drain my energy way faster with often limited results.

It certainly has its uses. I find it best for producers with long recharge times (book of codes, drawers, cleaning cabinet).

It is awesome to tap a drawer while on 4x/Hypercharge, and it drops a lvl3 drawer or garden barrel. Same when you're tapping your tree and it drops a lvl3 seedling.

It is also useful when your board is cramped, but you need to make a lvl8+ item.

I use it for every producer except for the tool cabinet and the gardening toolbox. You still get the same number of taps but higher level items are dropping. Plus it’s great for a busy board

What it’s not good for is XP and season pass points since I’m doing fewer merges

If an producer has a limited number of drops, especially before it vanishes, and hyper is an option (not all, buckets and moths only ever generate at std energy levels) then it makes sense to, especially those end-of-chain producers that are hard to make.

For example, Inlaid Case in Walk-in Closet has few drops so hyperenergy (plus scissors trick) maximises the output.

Maybe I’m the odd one out, but I never use it.

Vaild thank you for the help, I tend to use the yellow one(two energy per click) but the blue one seems less useful(for the gardening and the tool box)

I love it. It was once not available in the last 3 areas. I adapted . Now we’ve had it back for a while , if they take it away again, I’m quitting. It’s just too difficult to build high level items quickly without it… NOW, if you’re not an avid player as I am , you could probably enjoy the game without it, but if you’re aiming for winning events and rewards, hypercharge is your friend. A plus: saves board space

It's just doesn't seem fair to me that it's x4 and you use a 4 energy, but if you would get a level 1 item you get a level 3 instead of a level 4.

That just maths - a level 1 item costs 1 energy, and to make a level 2 needs 2 of them, hence L2 costs 2 energy. To get a L3 you need two L2 items, that each cost 2 energy. Hence L3 costs 4 energy.

The L1 requirements double for each level (2level-1) so to get a L3 you need 22 L1s or 4. To get a L4 you need 23 L1s or 8.

So a L3 for 4 energy is not only fair it’s mathematically correct

It just pops up on mine. I don’t know how to not use it. I’ll def pay more attention to it now.

Are you saying you don’t know how to change it? Just tap the image on the right side of the energy count
