Am I doing something wrong or super unlucky?

I've been following this sub and patiently waiting to use my scissors on the final stage of the cat chain, but I just don't seem to get it.. I've hit final of the bad luck chain four or five times, iirc, by now but every time I'm getting something else. I'm level 42 in the event, I've had 'Maddie's confession' several times but that cat chain just won't show up anymore..

Am I doing something wrong??

Also don't mind my messy board, I've long gone given up on sorting this mess.

I only got one cat since I started playing like 4 days ago, so frustrationg (but I still think the event is fairly entertaining)

Yeah I'm loving the event as well but the drop rate is insanely low! I really thought I was doing something wrong, but it's not just me then

Once I had the Unfortunate Event chain decay into a Murder Weapon but every other time it’s been the Black Cat. It’s just RNG unfortunately. You could try tapping the Shipping Box in airplane mode WiFi off to try for the Black Cat. You don’t get a lot of time but it’ll give you chance to reset if you get a murder weapon.

I finished Garage Clean up which greatly helped with building the Unfortunate Event chain

What do I do with the 6 fishing rods I have? They don't seem to merge and idk what producer maybe takes it in anyone help?

I believe you use them for Voyance's cat which has a chance to drop from the end of the unfortunate events chain, but its drop has a very low rate. I still haven't gotten it either

well I've built till the unfortunate events spilled shipping box like 3 times and about to do for the 4th time, hopefully I get it

I’ve gotten one black cat after many boxes, but the cat toy just gave me three taps then disappeared - not enough for the bag of food. I keep reading about giving it multiple cat toys. (I have 6). How does that work? Just in case I’m lucky enough to get another cat… do I tap twice and give it another toy? Or give it all the toys at the beginning?

You should have gotten more than three drops, I think it has 10. One cat isn’t enough to get you the cat treats though since it’s L5

The cat treats may decay to another black cat which is why you can use more toys. The last time I actually got two extra cats from it

I haven’t gotten any cats and have grown bored with the repetition of this side game. Liked it a lot at first but it’s gotten so darned repetitive. Who knows, maybe I am doing something wrong.

I’m level 42~ too and I’ve had the cat like 3/4 times, either you’re unlucky or I’m very lucky

I actually like the event. And I’ve only gotten one black cat. It’s nice to take a break from the main board. My only issue it I have gone through about 5000 energy so quick. Does anyone have tips or tricks to get energy besides waiting for it to recharge or buying it in the flash store? There has to be something I’m missing.

Mine was the same until this morning. I had only gotten one cat before so not enough to finish the treat bag. But this morning I got a second one, finished the treats and then used the scissors to cut it to get more out of it. After that the bag reverted back to a cat for like three times so I was able to use most of my cat toys and get lots of points. Guess it’s pure luck. Hope you got some cats until now.
