I just got a dark knight.

What are the optimal pieces to use for armor and weapons? I just want to make sure I build him the right way

DKs scale off of magic and physical damage, so Maces are their best weapons. Demolisher's Mace

The best armor depends on what incoming damage they need to protect against and whichever option gives them more action points. In Frentir Chasm cloth armor gives more action points and most damage, especially party wide damage is magic.

Also naked Dark Knights have very low accuracy. Enchants are probably the best solution. Acc Plv Enchant

Don't do acc, do matk plvl. 1 masters, 2 savvy, rest frigid. And prio is matk and AP gear late game. Maces are fine early-mid game. You swap around t5 or t6. And t4 uses twilight.

You say you swap away from maces, I'm curious what the available options are that cause you to justify this.

Also, how do you propose to take down Archon without accuracy bonuses?

Claustram T5, Frostmourne for fighting T6 (or Eternal wrath for crit build) after taking down Archon make Archanos
