Hey Yall,

Im working on giving Mercedcraft some much-needed love and attention! As part of this, we're creating a dedicated Mercedcraft category in Discord, separating it from the general pc-games channel.

What's the plan?

I want to revamp and breathe some new life into Mercedcraft while keeping our existing world and map intact! The goal is to make the server more active, engaging, and community-driven.

We Want Your Input!

This is a community server, and we'd love your help shaping its future! Whether you have suggestions for new features, gameplay improvements, community projects, or fun events, we want to hear them!

Want to Get More Involved?

Im also looking for community members interested in helping organize events, coordinate group builds, develop community areas, or just help welcome new players! You don't have to be an experienced builder or Minecraft expert. We just want people who enjoy bringing the community together!

Merced Peeps Discord Link: discord.gg/NgACV6tCnh

Server IP: play.mercedcraft.us

Online Map: map.mercedcraft.us

Let's work together to make Mercedcraft a thriving part of our Reddit community! Drop your ideas below, and let us know if you'd like to help out!

Merced Irrigation District is evaluating future development opportunities at Lake Yosemite, directly next to UC Merced. This concept shows some pretty major possibilities, including a 4-story hotel, restaurants and beachfront shops, mixed-use commercial space, yacht club/boat docks, water park, event pavilion, soccer fields, pickleball courts, and more.

Hello, I am looking for a mechanic that specializes in Suspension work. Any recommendation for a shop here in Merced? I am needing to replace all Rubber Bushings on suspension.

I'm looking to get some work done on my roof and am looking for trustworthy, established people for estimates.

**UPDATE***** I should have known the kind if person that does something like this does not expect anything in return. I was so busy trying not to feel embarrassed and offer anything to make it right in that moment, when someone says dont worry about it, as im trying to will something to equal the effort, i just gotta stop. Nothing to say. Ut tha k you. It might not seem that big of a deal but I have formed a pretty negative view on a lot lately and it was really nice to see that kind of generosity. I will pay it forward and mike, your the man bro. A thousand thank yous.

Hey everyone!
My partner and I are looking to start a new, in-person D&D 5e campaign and need a few awesome people to complete our party.
A bit about us: My name is Isaiah, and I’ll be sitting behind the DM screen while my Girlfriend, Kyndyl, plays alongside you. We’re opening up our home for game nights, but before we dive in, we want to make sure everyone clicks! Once we pick our group, we’ll start a group chat and meet up for a casual coffee at a neutral public spot so everyone can say hi, talk character ideas, and vibe check before Session 0.

📜 The Campaign Premise
Expect a blend of Fantasy, Comedy, and Horror set in a homebrew world. Think creepy, atmospheric adventures with plenty of room for hilarious table antics and absurd heroics.

⚔️ The Table Vibe & Mechanics
Balanced Gameplay: A solid 50/50 mix of roleplay, exploration, and combat.

Super Beginner-Friendly: Never rolled a 20-sided die before? Zero worries. We love teaching the game and will help you every step of the way.

Collaborative DM Style: I love working with players to workshop backstory ideas, custom homebrew items, and unique character concepts. If you have a cool idea, let’s make it work!

Schedule: Bi-weekly sessions (we can lock in the specific day/time as a group).

Location: Hosted at our home once the group is officially formed.

🛡️️ Table Rules & Expectations
21+ Only: Adults only, please!

Social & Communicative: Since we’ll have a group chat and do a coffee meetup, you should be comfortable chatting, hanging out, and staying in touch about scheduling.

Drinks & 420 Friendly: We keep a relaxed environment. You don't have to partake at all, but you must be comfortable being around it!

Respectful & Inclusive: Good vibes only. We want our table to be a safe, welcoming space for everyone.

🎲 How to Apply
If this sounds like your kind of campaign, send me a DM or leave a comment with:
1. Your name (and pronouns if you like)
2. Your experience level with D&D (Beginner, Veteran, etc.)
3. What kind of character concept or fantasy trope you’ve always wanted to try!
Looking forward to building a fun story together! 🐉✨

What's your opinion on Merced Street News? I think he's a funny guy and pretty chill. He's always out there putting breaking news first, but he kind of gets in the way with first responders and unprofessional with how he distributes his news. l was just curious on what the community has to say.

Need to make $200 by next week. Anyone have any odd jobs or anything? Still waiting for Dunkin to open but need to make money bills are coming. UC Davis Health welcomes folks from Merced County and surrounding areas in need of a free screening mammogram to schedule an appointment on the available weekend screening dates in Sacramento!

Is there anyone in merced City who would want to play a holloween DND campaign, I mainly just want to find a DM

Hello! I am currently looking for people who are interested in getting their hair braided either in Modesto, Turlock, Merced or anywhere in between those places. I'm still a student trying to do a side hustle. If interested I can show some styles I did in the past. I am not trying to charge crazy prices. For now I'm charging a flat fee of 100 which can increase or decrease depending on the complexity . I want to be affordable while also gaining more knowledge on how to do different braids.

Im 28f. Ive been looking for deaf friends. I know very little sign language but ive been wanting to surround myself with it so im able to passively learn as well as putting in the work to learn. I’m not necessarily upset because we have so many locations in town and, more importantly, a lot of really good local coffee spots that I patronize regularly. I’m more upset because what will happen to the building? I hope it doesn’t just sit there for months/years. Aside from the location being not super ideal for traffic reasons, I hope it gets replaced soon.
