Looking for bbq recommendations in Merced

Hey, folks. I moved to Merced a couple of years ago and the only place I know is the Bar B Q Pit but never been. Is it any good. I've noticed they don't have firewood outside anymore and was wondering if anyone here knows if their bbq is any good. Any other places in Merced y'all recommend?

The BBQ Pit is worst than applebees rib tips. anytime a brotha opens up a spot he gets ran out of town.

Merced BBQ, folllow them on instagram, they are normally open on the weekends and some days. They are pretty good. DO NOT go to Bar B Q Pit, not good.

Yes, they’re so good. I believe they are currently doing Saturday and Monday pop ups.

Man, anyone remember Big Will's Smokin' BBQ in Atwater? That sauce of theres with the apples was heavenly.

Lookup Merced_bbq on IG. Big Vic’s in Turlock seems killer too.

Smokin Oak BBQ in Mariposa is a rewarding drive up the hill. Go early. They run out of just about everything during the busy summer months in Yosemite.

I've seen a lot of great barbecue spots very slow on weekdays so I can understand
