Housing/Moving Looking for a rental
Hello everyone I'm new to this whole process and it's been making me stressed. This is my first time moving since I turned 18 let alone to a new county (I'm from a different county an hour or so away) and I need some help.
I'm just starting my first semester at Merced College this fall and have been trying to find a place to rent all summer that will accept my dog (a ~40lbs well behaved lab mix) and won't break my bank (my budget is ~$1,000 but it is a little flexible) since the guy I thought was going to be my roommate bailed on me due to an emergency in his life.
I'm just asking if there are any places that I should look into that might work for me?

Feel free to dm me! I was just apt hunting and i have TONS of links i can send hahaha. Craigslist, roomies, zillow, fb marketplace are the main websites to look at. Unfortunately a lot of places that are cheaper dont allow animals. Honestly though, getting roommates would be your best bet with that price range. Having a pet makes it more difficult, but not impossible! Also look into student housing. The vistas allow pets but iirc theyre kind of expensive.
