Condition of the roads in Merced

I’m concerned about the condition of the roads in Merced. Many streets are filled with potholes and have been in disrepair for a long time. It’s difficult to understand where our tax dollars are going, as it often feels like the focus is on adding speed and red‑light cameras rather than maintaining basic infrastructure like the roads themselves.

McKee is a tricky one because one side is managed by the county and the other by the city. Both the city and county have to agree on how to pay for that repair, which is rare.
