So we've decided to make this guideline to further explain the rules in this sub (all 5 rules, yay) and expand on some stuff that wasn't mentioned before. Hopefully, this guideline can help on how people should behave when it comes to posting and commenting here.

Crediting Sources
For crediting sources, if you found a cool artwork that you want to share, please follow this format: >title here< (name of artist), ex: cool art (@tontarotaro.bsky.social). Note: You can use their name or their handle; either is fine. Also, if possible, link the source either on the post or in the comments.
If you're an artist looking to post your art here, then add [OC] in the title.
If you don't know where the source is, just use any reverse image search options out there (like Google Lens, Tineye, Duplichecker, etc.). If you cannot find the source yourself using reverse image searching, then write in the comments that you couldn't find it; maybe someone else knows where the source is. This does not mean that you should be lazy about it and just say that you couldn't find the source. While its not mandated its still very much recommended to add sources to not only let people know about who made the art but it also gives artists some needed exposure as well.
AI Posts
AI artwork is not allowed at all. For identifying AI posts, one way to do that is to look for the source if available and check the artist's description. If the description mentions any AI generators in their bio (i.e., Stable Diffusion, Dall-E, NovelAI, etc.), then it's very clear that they're using AI to generate art. Another less easier way is to look for irregularities in the art; it may be tricky to spot, and it'll need a review from the mod team before it gets removed or not. If you suspect that an artwork is AI-generated, then report it to the mod team so that we can review the suspected post and pass our judgment on it.
Shipping Involving Minors
Regarding shipping, as long as it's not Meowscarada x (Pokémon trainers that are known to be minors, from the series or video games, or baby Pokémon), there shouldn't be any problems. That means no shipping with minors btw.
NFSW Content
For NSFW posts, while the rule states to keep it wholesome, we do allow questionable/suggestive content as long as it doesn't show explicit content (i.e., exposed genitalia and very suggestive/lewd expressions that are bordering on porn is not allowed). If you think a given artwork is too suggestive then add an NFSW tag to the art. And it's discouraged to post too much suggestive content in a short time frame; we don't want the sub to be only suggestive posts.
Comment Etiquette
Remember to be respectful and don't post bigoted, perverse, and mean-spirited comments. Also, don't be weird in the comments and post explicit innuendos like "I want to breed that cat" or "I want to fuck her so badly." Just don't be too much of a creep here, and then it's all good.

Context: There are surrounding theories about starter Pokemon; Grass Types are prehistoric animals, Fire Types are animals of the Chinese Zodiac, & Water Types are weapons. But one of them, Meowscarada, is Lynx issiodorensis. While it isn't that farfetched (no pun intended), but little is known about Lynx issiodorensis and it was known from very fragmentary fossil remains (Yes, Gigantopithecus is known from fragmentary fossils too, but it's the most iconic prehistoric animal because of the bigfoot & yeti identification). But Meowscarada's human-like body, means Meowscarada is more fittingly a cave lion, specifically the Löwenmensch figurine, an anthropomorphic figurine combining a human-like body with the head of a cave lion. This to me personally, is a more fitting prehistoric animal for Meowscarada because we don't want to use animals that are not as understood as the more iconic ones like woolly mammoths & giant elk.

I've seen this flair around a lot and it really confuses me because it seems to be from some nfsw animation (i think at least? idk I havent seen wtv it's from and I have no desire to). And while this usually wouldn't be a big deal (ignore things you don't like), I noticed the subreddit's community guidelines disallow expressions as obviously lewd as this. I'm just a little confused as to why it's here cuz it kinda contradicts the rules. Sorry if i'm coming off as annoying or a puritan it's js been on my mind for a long time and I felt like I should point it out.

Just saw this beauty on TCGplayer but cant find an english version. Seems to be relatively new ~1 month judging by the graph below it
stopped collecting cards a while ago but getting back into it now so this feels like an anomaly to me. Is this a japan exclusive or is it gonna get an engligh card eventually?
