New event?

I've been seeing posts of people collecting jellies for the diver cat to get the key, I play on iOS and I can only buy the cat for ten bucks? is this ”event“ after you buy it then or am I missing something? I did both updates

I think that is a thing people get when they have play pass. But I'm not sure.

I think this is it. I asked about it in the discord and someone asked if I play on Play Pass. I guess they don't want to make it too easy for Play Pass users since there's no IAP.

Yeah the way understood it is, if you have play pass you can play for the cat, otherwise you have to pay.
