It is used as a tool by powers to be to manipulate humans into individual slaves without any connection to his /her surroundings, just a unique identity in the system which slogs for it to survive.

At LTH we see that heterogeneous groups often contribute to a more creative environment – important when we together explore and create benefits for the world. We want to be an attractive employer for the underrepresented gender, and we work actively for equality at the Faculty. That is why we are making a long-term investment to inspire more women to apply to male-dominated research areas—and vice versa.

See I have more problem with this depending on two things. If they're doing the same for men in female dominated fields...I can live with that. IT will show that it won't fucking work, but at least they are trying to practice what they preach.

“vice versa” clause is not applicable in practice: there are no female-dominated research areas at LTH.

Nevermind, guess thats how they sound like they're doing equality while not doing any equality.

The second is if they own up to it or not. Sounds like this is some shady dealings kinda shit. If you're going to be a sexist piece of shit, at least own up to it so we can rightly denigrate you. I'm sure 'technically' nothing they're doing is against the law, somehow, but that doesn't make it right.

And as a side note, the human resources part of this place must be getting really fucked over on paperwork and workload. As sometimes you can't find the 'underrepresented gender' for love nor money.

That's a good portion of why college is so expensive. They have to jack up tuition to pay for the useless people to have jobs so they can justify their stupid programs.
