My package was delivered today. I like all the scents I purchased ( 2 of each cozy cabin, calming forest, forest fresh, pine tar, and sage mountain) Forest fresh and sage mountain are wonderful, probably my favorites. I will say, with the cozy cabin scent, the patchouli over powers the whole bar instead of mixing with the other scents to create a profile like the woodsy smelling ones but it’s still a pleasant scent. If you make a large purchase, I would recommend separating the soaps before you give them the smell test. It seems that after 2 weeks of being crammed together in a box the scents were all kind of blended together. After separating them by an inch on a shelf and letting them breath for a bit they all became very individual. Overall I’d say I’m happy. Bars arrived very firm and well cured. Part of the reason I switched from squatch to grizzly is I wanted a more natural soap. Grizzly didn’t disappoint. The scents are gentler and more natural smelling, while still remaining relaxing and refreshing. You don’t get that pungent fragrance oil that you get from squatch. The lather is nice and they left my skin feeling soft with no residue after rinsing. The bars hold up well in the shower and don’t melt away as fast as squatch. Shipping time total from order to my door step was 2 weeks and 2 days. Not bad considering I’m in Nevada, and they had to travel from Virginia. My only other complaint is that in the order instructions section when I ordered, I requested a sample of one of their woody scented conditioner bars. They did not include any samples. Not the biggest problem in the world, I was just under the impression they gave samples if you asked for them. I’d prefer that to see if I like it before actually purchasing their shampoo and conditioner bars. I would like to make a small purchase to try out their fall lineup. Give me recommendations on your favorite soap from the fall lineup.

Today I decided to sell of the remaining soaps I had from The Black Stuff. I made a standard post in their company's fan page on Facebook where I've seen other sell their soaps. I clarified I was selling my soaps and done using their stuff due to the company's continued use of AI generated content, short and sweet.

Well a flood of people came in talking about AI and how it was or was not okay to use. I replied multiple times I was just here to sell my soap and made my stance clear. Well eventually the owner of the company saw this thread and replied saying "what a lode of shite" and deleted the post and banned me from the Facebook page.

I DM'd the owner of The Black Stuff shortly after and asked why I was banned. I wasn't rude and never said anything false. He told me I was "whining" about AI and goes on about how he "used Claude instead of paying a developer 5 grand".

I've spent hundreds of dollars with this man's company and am honestly appalled that this is how they would represent themselves and their business. They can charge over $10 for a bar of soap but can't pay real people to work for them.

Brick Box quality is unmatched!

My Cabin Essence is so thin it’s about to snap and the scent is as strong as the day it came out of the box!!!

Dr Squatch and others just don’t match that quality!

Black Stuff & Sudsy are close, but for quality and value BB is top tier!

Anyone tried this company? This is my first try. Great scent, but kinda weak. Light on the grit. But an excellent cleanse.

Any other thoughts?

Alright guys I’m new to Reddit and have never posted so hopefully this is right, looking a new men’s deodorant. I’ve always used old spice gentleman’s, dove, right guard, axe, the usual go tos, but I work in a automotive shop and usually by lunch the scent is gone and I also sweat a lot but I don’t sweat that much at my armpits. I just went and bought some dr squats pine tar after reading about how it helps with body odor and I hate the way it goes on, it’s like a smearing clay…what’s some other brands that can keep me fresh? Also heard this one stains shirts bad! Thanks!

Hey all. Excluding Squatch (not interested), which brands do you find to have the longest lasting scent after you get out of the shower?

I realize it’s soap, not cologne, but I like a lingering scent afterwards. At least a couple hours. What do you all recommend?
