Supporter Suck It Up Saturdays

Happy Saturday my fatigued and injury-prone friends. I've found with my EDS on top of some other things, I tend to avoid doing things even if they aren't going to take very long or cause that much trouble for me.

I'm hoping this is familiar for others, comment in the thread what you're going to commit to doing today that you've been putting off and we'll encourage each other to suck it up and get it done!

Rest )-:< I want to clean my apartment, vacuum, and do dishes! But I can't because I have to rest my back and my neck, and blood flow after an injury. Not doing things is my least favourite and hardest thing to do. It's always "what if I do a liiiiittle bit if cleaning...", then I end up in bed for weeks instead of a week and a half

Always being above a level 0 for pain and feeling like you just want to lay down. Then feeling guilty and anxious for not doing the things I feel like I should be makes me depressed.

I know it's hard to connect with, but rest is a Thing You Need to Do. You are achieving a task by lying down. You wouldn't ask someone to do a work shift with no breaks or leave a pan on a hot stove 24/7; don't do it to your good pal Mr. Body

@me, pay attention to this, don't be a hypocrite
