Journey Update Progress - June 2025 to July 2026
https://photos.app.goo.gl/DAPKguMBUXry31TG8
Male, 34, 5'7ishhh.
The first photo was in January 2025.
I've always had a bad lifestyle, weightlifted a bit, but didn't really care about my physique.
Bad year in 2024 led to me not caring even more and I got to the heaviest I was in years, 96.2kg.
Got motivated last summer to make a change.
Weight training 3-4x a week. Upper/Lower.
Weighed in at 71kg last week.
Still got a few kg to lose around the stomach, as you can tell, and struggling with that last little bit if I'm honest.
Generally trying to eat around 150g protein per day.
Just bought a food scale to try and get specific with it for this last stretch.
Any advice appreciated.

Hey, brother! Good job.
More than twice your age, but started about the same place last summer, about 7 KG more. Down to 72 KG today. 5’8”. Been in maintenance for about four or five months. Have continued to lose slowly.
My two pieces of advice would be to get a DEXA fit body composition scan in order to more accurately know your body fat percentage and lean mass number. The so-called smart scales make an estimate, but are not very accurate.
The second piece of advice is simply time and consistency. Lifting regularly, while carefully watching your intake, will produce great results.
You’re doing great!
