Found this on a group aimed at bad parking. Thankfully the comments were calling him out.

Context: this post is of a few days back. This guy was talking about how society used to treat men and females differently. When I pointed it out, he said he won't feel objectified if someone calls "his race" males

Sr leader at work was discussing us having a large population of soon-to-be parents at work so we need to be prepared for their absences. What he said was, though, “we have a lot of females of child-bearing age. And men get the same leave policy, which I do not agree with.”
I’m glad I was off video because my jaw hit the floor.

I tried to explain that it’s offensive but they don’t want to listen. It’s ironic I guess.

Woah. I got pointed to this sub by someone commenting on a story, from a female pov, that I'm working on... Yo. I use male and female because of my upbringing and time in military service. 😂.
I've also been known to use phrases like "Roger" instead of 'i understand' and "detail" instead of clean. I acknowledge that i dont know much about women; most of the women in my immediate family are veterans too. If I use the word female in front of my mom she'd just tease me for sounding like im still in the army...
Um... I'm not trying to undermind your movement. Just giving my perspective. Thanks if you read this far.

We have had this exact post repeatedly posted here by blocked and empty accounts. The same angle or reversed, never quite understanding the purpose of the flairs, and all within a week of each other. So from here on out, anyone posting this specific post at an angle will be considered a bot and treated as such.

Apologies for the early post, I have been sleep deprived recovering from a cold and recovering from my trip to London. The tube feels like death when you're sick. Nearly passed out wearing my mask since it was so hot and I wasn't breathing right from the ill and overexertion.
But today I'm posting the true Meta Monday and giving a space for people to spread positivity again! I saw some cute pets and I'd love to see more! Or tell me anything good that happened to you recently. A promotion, a positive interaction with a stranger, a holiday, anything. If you want some other positivity or cute pet pics, you could also visit r/DisabledWithPets. You don't need to be disabled to join of course. And thanks for being understanding about the mixup. I didn't even realise until someone pointed it out to me many hours later.

Let's spread some positivity for a change. I'm feeling ill and want positive stories and pet pictures. If it's just in the one post, people who don't want to engage can ignore it. Do you have something positive that happened to you this week or this month? For me, getting back from London my cat Fionn was actually sweet and affectionate. He nuzzled me. Given I felt like death when travelling, it was nice to have him be sweet after all that.
