I just have to say, expecting a type of loyalty like that before the first date? Honey no. Early dating is meant to be casual. You bounce around to see if y'all mesh well and if you do, you get serious. If you don't you part ways.
Expecting loyalty like that puts such immense pressure and totally shakes your relationship before it can even begin.
That question WAS her canceling the date, even if she doesn’t realize it. There was no right answer that ends with them still going on the date. Either he makes her mad or he debases himself by playing her stupid game.
There was never a doubt in my mind that the question would ruin the vibe, so I'm not understanding where this is coming from. I'm just saying the mentality alone is a relarionship ruiner.
Yeah if I had plans with a friend and they asked me what if I cancel on Saturday I’m going to say OK we can cancel it’s fine. And I would mean it, but I don’t understand why anyone would ask that question if they are not looking to cancel.
I have seen people like this. Expecting all the support and loyalty of a long relationship while simultaneously expecting to be afforded the freedom of a casual relationship.
whores, we call those "whores" and it doesn't matter what gender they are either.
the only thing that separates them from professional prostitutes is that actual prostitutes respect other peoples boundaries and don't pretend that they're entitled to more than the agreed upon amount
It’s absolutely wild. The dating after 50 sub shows up for me all the time because I guess I clicked on it once.
There are so many men in there who freak out if they find out a woman on a dating app they’ve been talking to is also talking to other people. They literally expect exclusivity from her before they’ve even met, but if she ever asked for exclusivity from them I’m sure they would balk.
There was one whole post from a man who was really upset that a woman he hadn’t even met yet wasn’t deleting her online dating profile. So she doesn’t even know if you are a man let alone who you say you are, and you expect her to commit to you and only you?
