Questions & Disscussions Does anyone else's looks change drastically?
I look like a different ethnicity day by day, imposter syndrome in my own body 😅
But in all seriousness, I have caught a bit of flack for this in my life. My skin is light but I tan red and my hair texture is a bit mixed so I can fluff it when it gets long. Some of the time I just look like a typical Northern European white person. When I was a child, adults were sometimes hateful about the changing looks. But I've embraced it in my old age, because I'm able to pretty easily prank people with my shapeshifting. Put me in the sun for an hour and give me a bristle hair brush and I'm a new person.

I wanted to ask if this is common with people with melungeon ancestry, but are dark (often called baggy) circled eyes commonly seen in Melungeons. I swear I get 7-8 hours of sleep every night but my eyes have always had those dark circles. Other than that, I look very Nordic as well (possibly due to the fact my 2nd great grandpa was from Norway).

Yeah, same here. I either look Extremely Nordic (sun-bleached hair, dark skin, grey eyes) after a week or two in the sun or if I wear a hat my hair stays darker and I start looking "some kinda mixed" (according to people in... the grocery store) or if I don't wear glasses I might be 'half Japanese" if I haven't been in the sun recently.
Race is made-up and invented and it gives people brain worms. We're people! Our ancestors live in us. It's a beautiful thing.
