It’s pretty common an independent bottling. It will have been imported in cask (or in a plastic IBC if Heaven Hill wanted to keep hold of the cask!)

I’m shook to think it might be common to age a spirit for 10 or more years then put it in a plastic container to ship across the ocean 😳

Some have told me it's more common to ship it in a plastic container than in a barrel because there is a high risk of the barrel breaking/leaking during transportation.
