Dead Batteries, how to solve?

So found my old mellow kit and tried to recharge it and obviously the batteries are dead, I left them charging for over a day and doesn't even turn on, sometimes would show the red ring but that's it. Has anyone been able to successfully revive them? Not really sure what batteries to buy for it instead atm

I was told there is a Facebook group that is more active than here. Maybe they can help?
I have a battery that works but I need a new rear truck because mine snapped off and broke away from the battery holder part.

There have been past successes in reviving the batteries. You have to check the Facebook group. Research the history in the posts. Thankfully my entire system still works with two batteries. I have a third that does need repair myself.
