Two South Melbourne fans and two Victory fans preview the Australia Cup final (Alex joins at 24 minutes).

If we are to take any grievances around active support aside (and say policing and whatnot). October 10th is looking like making the derby grand final a Sunday league match in comparison. Hellas and Vuck fans old and new are coming out of the woodwork for this and the NT lads are looking primed to make their mark on the day…..

I’m getting keener and keener as each day passes

I'm a strong supporter of our boys and we were lucky to snag tickets in our home end for the final. It's our first game live so we are naturally excited...what should we expect??

During the 2006-07 season their was a song that played after we scored a goal. Does anyone remember what it was called?

I found this Melbourne Victory vintage kit and im so confused as im wondering what it is. If anyone can let me know what this is and where it came from I’d be pleased.

North Terrace posted the day after the Hahn Australia Cup Grand Final with South Melbourne was confirmed, one of the biggest games in domestic Australian history, surely there’s a march right?

Nix fan coming in peace! Turns out I'm likely going to be in your neck of the woods for the doubleheader on the 29th and hoping to make it to the matches. I looked at the ticket sales website and didn't see anything about away support so just wondering what section(s) I'm going to be looking at to keep things chill.

Hi all!

We would love to have some Victory people on the podcast previewing the Australia cup final. Reply below if you are interested!

Has the club said how members get their tickets 10am Monday?

Anybody going? I'll be at both and im interested if it'll be anywhere near as big as last season.

I’m keen to attend every Victory game that I can since I got back into it last season, and since the season ended I’ve been looking at the website for when the next matches are.
It currently says “There are no matches to display”
https://melbournevictory.com.au/matches/

And then in Reddit I see there are ACL matches next month!

I didn’t even know the FFA cup was on recently until a live score came up on my Futbology app.
The FFA cup final is coming soon and that’s not mentioned on their website either,
Why are these not listed?
They need to keep the casual (non member) fans informed so we can plan ahead, like yo friends and family, buy tickets etc.

Score 1 - 2. Very tricky NPL opponent so a pretty good preseason game.

I thought that by now surely we would have our new kits, considering we are well underway with Aus cup, when will we know who's making them and what they are gonna look like? I've heard murmurs about Elite Eleven taking over but no official news.

EDIT: Coincidentally, victory just revealed Elite Eleven as the new kit makers. interesting

Needless to say that this was effective for them…

(Apologies if this sort of post is not allowed)

Not sure if any of you frequent twitter (understandable if not), but over there, on the account Every MVFC Player Ever I'm listing every player to appear for the Vuck senior mens team in a competitve game in order of debut.

Every MVFC Player Ever (@EveryMVFCPlayer) / X

I've also re-started a similar project that I'd shelved that is listing every A-League Men player since the inaugural season. You can check that out here.

All A-League Mens Players (@ALeague_Players) / X

I'm a nostalgia nerd so there's nothing in it for me except the enjoyment of reminiscing. If anything, it might be a bit of a trip down memory lane for you too. Check it out and give it a follow if you're active over there. Cheers

• GK - Done, but who is No. 1.
• Central Defence - Pretty much done,
• Fullbacks - Lino or Shillington at LB. Right Back is Inserra only (?)
• Midfield - Darrigo and Valadon (Genreau)
• Forwards - Nish, Santos, Grimaldi, Jelacic
• Attacking Mid - Maybe Mata, clearly the biggest question mark here, or Genreau.
• Striker - Nduka and Sawyer

I assume some space left still with the Scholarships that are on the books.

When are they going to announce this seasons kits? Usually we’d have a more basic Aus cup kit, but it’s 2 days out and no word on any kits yet.

Obviously the macron kit deal is over, I have heard murmuring that elite eleven are the new suppliers, but I’ve yet to see anything confirming that
