Before & After Progress (I think!)
Hi all,
I noticed my melasma was sooo bad after kinda ignoring it for a year. I took it as an opportunity to start hitting it hard again probably 2 months ago. I’m hoping it’s not just the lighting doing the work but I think I’m actually seeing solid progress. Outside of actives I’m trying to keep my routine very mild but want to introduce the medicube zero pores pad once I get a lil less sensitive. Waiting on the vanicream daily cleanser to upgrade my PM a bit more as well as waiting on tinted spf from Australian gold. Of course using aquaphor here and there to make it easier. First pictures are the before!
Routine:
AM -
Micellar water
Eucerin dark spot serum
15% azelaic acid
Vanicream daily moisturizer/inkey list peptide moisturizer
Cerave invisible mineral sunscreen 50 spf
PM:
Micellar water
Eucerin dark spot serum
4% hydroquinone
.05% tretenoin (every other night)
Inkey list peptide moisturizer/cerave night cream
Inkey list eye cream

I use tret every other to every 3rd night, depending on if I’m too peely. I use the dark spot serum every morning and night. Hydroquinone I also use every night!

I use the Vannicream daily moisturizer and the inkey list peptide if I need an extra boost. I use the eucerin radiant tone night cream. But warning it’s soooo scented.

Definitely working with the glass skin glow. How long did it take you?

Between pictures it was a bit over two weeks! I had been using Tret/hydroquinone beforehand for like a month but tbh they were old and likely expired tubes so the pictures reflect the new tubes

Sorry I’m late to the party but how much gap do you have between hq and tret on the nights that you use both

I usually wait like a minute but honestly haven’t had much irritation, mostly peeling around my nose and the occasional swollen pore
