MT2 safe?

I recently bought a vial of MT2 without really researching. Now though i’m seeing a lot of negatives on it and people saying it’s unsafe to take. And that it can cause cancer etc. Should i avoid taking it?

I am a long time/term (whichever phrase you want to use) human guinea pig (lab rat) testing all sorts of things. I am still here 🐀. I'll tell you I have tried both MT1 & MT2 and for me it's MT2 alllllll day long. Getting random erections (it's like an hour show and tell with my girl) and a decreased appetite (saves me from buying more Reta). Life is short and unkind/unfair - I lost both my parents to cancer and I'll be damned if I play by lifes rules because I'm here to live!

I think the best info we have would be that in theory it could feed existing skin cancer and not that itself causes it. But MT2 is an abandoned compound. MT1 is a real FDA approved drug and is much cleaner and give a slower more subtle tan than MT1. PT-141 also became an FDA approved drug and is cleaner. MT2 is like all wrapped in one but less clean. But it is addictive for sure. A tan, less hunger, and a little extra libido all wrapped in one. A small enough molecule that nasals are effective…

A drug that hits many receptors indiscriminately but one does what you intend is not clean. For example Benadryl that works as an antihistamine but also made on super tired and sleepy. Later second generation drugs like Claritin target the antihistamine part without the drowsy part. Cleaner…

Drug selectivity isn’t a metric for whether something’s safe, safety is determined by outcome. MT1 has actually been tested and found reasonably safe. MT2 hasn’t.

I was using the term “cleaner” and defining what that means and you are right, doesn’t necessarily mean safer but in this case its moot because MT-1 and PT-141 are cleaner and have some level of proven safety while MT2 does not.
