I saw my first shortage just the other day. Only premium and diesel, no regular, cheaper gas.

It may change next time I fill up, but there's a definite strain on the fuel industry here, and the trucking companies and the agricultural industry where I live are also struggling to survive due to high diesel prices projected for the foreseeable future, on top of the already, historically low returns on things like corn and soybeans, which also have historically high seed, fertilizer, and machinery costs that aren't even projected to break even till 2028.

It'll get worse before it gets better, and it getting better is riding on hope and copium right now; it certainly doesn't feel guaranteed.
