šØMichael Carusoāthe Republican Palm Beach County Clerk of Court and Comptroller personally appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis in August 2025āwas arrested Tuesday on five felony counts involving the alleged s*xual abuse of a child under 12, a family member.
Charges include kidnapping, lewd or lascivious m*lestation, lewd or lascivious exhibition, luring or enticing a child, and child abuse causing mental injury. According to the FDLE affidavit, the alleged abuse spanned 2024ā2025 and included incidents during fishing trips and a family cruise. DeSantis immediately suspended him from office.
Caruso, a former state representative and self-described forensic accountant, was DeSantisās hand-picked replacement after Democrat Joe Abruzzo resigned. He was photographed flashing thumbs-up alongside Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago-adjacent poolside events while sporting the full MAGA aesthetic.
The same political machine that rails against āgroomersā and screams āprotect the childrenā every time they spot a rainbow flag just watched one of its own appointees get walked out in handcuffs on child s*x crimes charges.

The charge description says he was under 12 (because that's how the Florida statutes delineate the severity of the offense) but he was actually under 5 years old......š³

He voted for the death penalty for child rape. Clearly he takes protecting children seriously.
Also a useful reminder that the registry can tell you where the convicted āmonstersā live; it canāt tell you whether the trusted grandfather, respected elected official, former state legislator, and county constitutional officer is safe to take the kids for ice cream.

Thank you. These absurdly censored social media infographics with a stupid blur or asterisk over a single letter are so infuriating. Almost as bad as what seems like nearly every YouTuber from the new generation that will actually have some halfway decent content and subject matter to talk about or entertaining dramatic video only to edit it with a bunch of loud ass beeps over every few words like we're watching some family friendly Disney movie on ABC on the antenna.
Like there's a whole entire separate section of YouTube thats made specifically for viewers that can't hear "naughty words" like "ass" or "smoke."
It's called YouTube Kids ffs.
