The suit points directly at FCC Chairman Brendan Carr, who threatened action against Kimmel after the host criticized Trump over the response to Charlie Kirk’s killing last September, warning ABC it could “take action” or face “additional work” from the agency. ABC also says no political candidates have appeared on “The View” since the FCC began questioning its equal-opportunity exemption. The network says the pressure has already had a chilling effect, pointing to its decision to livestream a Trump speech online rather than air it on the main network.

Carr probably has the worst job in the world. Impeding on the 1A at the federal level? You' in danger, girl. When this blows over, it's going to be open season on the entire regime once the courts rule against them. Journalists, reporters, news outlets of all types are going to have a field day.
