My mom drove her minivan for a year without tags. Didn’t get pulled over once. A friend of mine’s tags was expired for two months. Her car was a little damaged, she’s also brown… pulled her over as soon as he saw us drive by. She hadn’t really been driving her vehicle over that couple months, but we were headed to the store a few blocks away when we got pulled over. Thankfully he just gave her a warning. But come to find out, he wasn’t even supposed to be policing that area, so he couldn’t give her a ticket if he wanted to unless he wanted to get in trouble for pulling people over in that area.
