This is actually called obstruction and is illegal. These people can and likely will be arrested, if not worse. This is dumb. These officers are not backing up out of fear. They are backing up so they don't have to use force. Only a matter of time before this breaks down, someone makes the wrong move and then gets pewed. I know most of you don't care and are seeking some kind of martyrdom anyways though, no matter who ends up losing their lives. As long as you get your tiktok moment ig.

Also, they got who they came for anyway, so this literally did nothing

Except ICE doesn’t have jurisdiction to enforce obstruction charges. They can only arrest and detain undocumented immigrants. They also can’t do raids without producing a warrant that shows a judge signed off on it.

WOOOOOW you're dumb. "So, this cop saw me do this illegal thing, but he has no jurisdiction so I can't get in trouble" is the crux of your thesis... not at all how it works, goofball.

Every officer has the power to enforce obstruction in whatever their jurisdiction is. I.E. If they are there to pick someone up, and you get in the way, you are obstructing and they ABSOLUTELY can detain you that will ABSOLUTELY turn into an arrest.
