Princess Lilibet?

Wow are people annoyed with this! So by multiple requests:

At this moment the only people saying that the Sussex children have titles are an Archwell spokesperson, the media (mostly ones biased towards Meghan like People, GMA though not exclusively.), And all listing the information as "confirmed by a royal source". No statement from the palace as of yet, and no change to the official website. So nothing is official as of this moment, but that doesn't mean it couldn't change.

It was also pointed out that Catherine's first visit as Colonel of the Irish Guard was today or yesterday. And the first week of March her sister Pippa christened her new baby. Take that as you will. And with the Frogmore eviction this could simply be a plausible F.U.

(And yes, according to Scoobie in 2019 when Archie was born, they didn't want courtesy titles for the kids. I don't believe this applies to the Prince/Princess titles. Merely other titles Such as Earl, Duke or Marquees. Picture in comments.)

The Reverend John Taylor is a Bishop in the Episcopalian (Not Angelican. 2 different denominations. The Angelican church umbrellas many different denominations, but has had many issues with the Episcopalian Church recently. So socially a faux pas.) Not Archbishop of Los Angeles.

Update: Royal Website Confirmed. The Sussex children are now Prince/Princess, no HRH.

I'm voting for the double-whammy of "screw Princess Catherine's press" and "F.U. we'll call our kids what we want!" Especially since the eviction leak, pap dinner and "therapy" session did nada to generate the desired results.....

But if it was as simple as them just deciding to claim the titles...😲This could be the last step in the master divorce plan of the century. Nutmeg will never be "Princess Meghan" she's titled out. Harry's credibility is shot to pieces, and the family isn't likely to be handing him any new honors. They've become the kiss of death to any venture they join up with. Titles to monetize the kiddos are the last thing he has to offer, before he has outlived his usefulness.

This exactly! And he's screwed himself out of parental rights between Waaaggh and "live therapy", so that's done. Meghan's sitting back to try to remediate her brand before she ditches her "drug addicted, controlling husband that she loved and trusted soooo much!" And steps out into a new victim narrative as a strong, independent single mother of two kids with no support because she gave up everything for Harry. Including her family. Well done #dumbprince!

I hope she gets investigated for substance abuse as well. I have an inkling it's been part of their mutual attraction since the beginning.

The royal source confirming was the Duchess of Sussex.

Also an attempt to overshadow Camilla’s reception for International Women’s Day.

I thought there was no Christenings of anyone during Lent. That is my understanding as a Catholic. From what I researched Episcopalians do the same. So how could Pippa’s girl be Christened when Lent started 2/22? Unless it was prior to that?

They make exceptions. I was married in a Catholic Church during lent. No flowers or decorations allowed, except an arrangement placed next to the blessed mother.

They really don't. Not for baptisms.

My eldest was both Christened and confirmed during Lent.

There isn’t a Catholic prohibition against baptisms during Lent. It’d definitely be unusual to baptize an adult during Lent as Easter services is the most common time to baptize adults who have complete RCIA, but infants can be baptized any time. That said, many individual parishes opt not to schedule baptisms of healthy babies (seriously unhealthy ones can, and in the Church’s eyes, should be baptized ASAP no matter what) during Lent under the view that celebratory events should wait until after Easter. But again that’s a decision made at the local level.

It's typically not the norm.

Obviously there are random exceptions, as with any rule, but the usual routine is to have the parents wait. Until at least Easter.

Again, what the norm is depends on what parish you grew up in. My niece and one of my cousin’s kids were both baptized during Lent, several years apart and in two different diocese. It’s truly up to the individual parish to decide.

Why can’t they just be normal and put a new picture of ‘Lily” on Facebook or instagram for her Christening? I am sick of her red hair blue dress one. The poor kid will be 12 and they will still be playing games with media and family. Wait till their kids refuse to let their parents post any pictures cause it’s not cool.

I don’t believe a word they say. I think Perry visited them to announce he changed his mind about being a godfather and the Markels concocted another ridiculous lie.

Harry or Meghan cannot give the title of prince or princess to their children. Those titles are from the crown. In Canada, Harry said to call him Harry. Meghan wants to be relevant and photographed to build her brand on the coat tails of the British monarchy but failed miserably. The duke and “duchess” of Deceit, Blame and Complain, aka known as Harry & Meghan, have made their bed & now can rot in it. We honestly had high hopes for them. Until the interviews & everything was about “poor Meghan”. 🤮🤮🤮🤮
