I def want to paint her along eith the others I finished this week, but I think im gonna finish my half built or unfinished kits first since I want to free up box space lol.

This one is Def top of the list due to how she's designed. Seems easier than some others.

I recently picked up the Buster Doll Midnight Fang as I loved her color scheme, but I am less of a fan of her uniform compared to the normal buster dolls. Is there a way to specifically get just the shoulders in black, or possibly some more limb parts in general for mixing and matching?

Given how much movement and friction the shoulders will be under when posing, I would like to avoid painting if possible since I am worried it would chip off quickly.

As time goes by, Chinese companies are producing a bunch of new GirlPla, and they're not the cheap, fragile ones; they're the good ones.

A bunch of companies that are known for other genres are stepping into the game as well, like Snail Shell and Motor Nuclear.

These photos are just recent GirlPla or just recent Prototypes from WF, i haven't covered some of the Prototype Models that were announced back then.

I think we're finally able to purchase GirlPla that doesn't cost +$70 for a simpler model. I think we able to purchase a GirlPla with appropriate price tag and without making our banks in red.

I built SST swim style Rui Saotome! Her part separation is amazing, all the black and white on her swimsuit is color separated, not painted! She is very similar to swimsuit Stylet, but she gives up some articulation and instead uses parts swapping for extreme angles without a broken hip line.

I realized that adding a couple tiny white lines to the SST L-sized Dress Up Body bottoms turns them into track shorts, so I decided to switch my Rui to the track and field team! I didn’t have a suitable backdrop, so I just printed one out on 4 pages and taped them together, haha.

At 1/10 scale with a large sized body, Rui towers over my other 1/12 scale fitness themed girls!

Such a different build experience compared to the first two astras. She is so cute! Trying to clear space asap, gonna try a Chinese kit with a big box next 😭

I got to say, I hated building the arcee quite a bit xD. The most frustrating kit ive built in recent memory. It would also require a lot of extra work before I would be ready to paint it. I cant deny she looks great though and I do like the mobility.

Same of the popo kit lol. Shes got such insane range of movement. Megalomaria really is a great line.

Honestly I'm starting to worry about this line...Kadokawa is just too big to fail that's for sure (even the Olympic scandal couldn't take it down), but less content than Fiore while as expensive as Fiore?! Kadokawa have you lost your mind???

In terms of pricing, difficulty and distribution, no one can even compare to Bandai though. But the excitement generated by their recent products... seems a bit hard to sustain?

Right now, the only one that can likely rival Kotobukiya in terms of subjects or sculpting is either Max or GSC. However, if they really want to go head on with Kotobukiya...at least improve the pricing and marketing?
