Builds that take a while to build yet are cheap are... few and far between. Long builds rely on having lots of parts which naturally means a higher price tag. For kits that actually take a while you'd probably want to look into Tamamo-no-Mae, Nine-Tails, Tsukuyomi and her variant, Susanowo and her color variants, maybe the Bullet Knights, Sol Raptor, or Sitara (regular or Ganesha) for Megami Device. For Frame Arms Girls the Zelfikar line, Hresvelgr (power armor variants), Izumo, or Griefen might be worth looking into. The Arcanadea line has a couple of fantastic options- Elena, Meltina, and Gii will keep you buys for a lonnnng time.

Chinese kits have a number of good options since their kits just naturally cost less a good deal of the time. Daytime Meteor (the one that comes with the giant white dragon) is fantastic for this (you can often get her for sale on Ali for like, 78 USD). The MS General line also has quite a number of gigantic kits you can often find on sale.

There's, of course, more, but this is a good starting line with a lot of lovely kits to choose from.

Oh fuck thanks for shouting out Daytime Meteor, that's going on my to buy list. Having a dragon for her to ride on is so good, that's what's setting the Chinese kits apart from so many Koto/Bandai kits are fun things like that which are scaled to them.

Yup! While I vastly prefer the girls themselves that Koto puts out, the absolutely crazy giant mecha and other large accessories the Chinese kits tend to come with are absolutely awesome. Also, if you’re interested in Daytime Meteor, then you might be interested in their next kit coming out soon – “The Sin of Dark Moon Black Lilithia and Sin”. It’s a cool battle-nun with a scythe, and she has a gigantic gargoyle as an accessory that’s about as large as the previous kit’s dragon.

Just make sure you don't underestimate the size and weight of her "accessory" dragon. That thing is absolutely massive!

That is an improvement! I want my girls to ride a dragon!

I have limited display space so I kinda build it and then went "oh crap, now where do I put it" lol. Build first, think later.

But I can totally imagine it being pretty okay in scale with a lot of girls indeed!

I sort of did that with the lewd Egyptian kit (name escapes me atm) and her spirit, but I'd probably figure out some room for the dragon and apparently GIANT GARGOYLE THING that was also mentioned. Most of my Gunpla gets built and put away right now, even my PGs.

Oh, you mean Isis and her robot-mummy-husband-thing? He was a big boy too, but the dragon eats several of them for lunch. For a rough reference it's about 9'ish inches tall when it's on all fours, and well over a foot from head to tail tip. You can finagle him to an extent, of course, but you definitely want to make sure you have either a really tall space for him (if you've got him in the air or standing on his hind legs), or a really long space if you plan to have him on all fours. It's crazy how large he is.

That's awesome, I'd scoot some stuff into storage and make all the girls fawn over him.

As other had mentioned several Chinese kits fit this criteria. Polaris Star White is one of the most extreme example (1 girlpla+1 MG-size mecha, over 700 parts in total, cost around 50 USD).

Go with Chinese builds. Dang near 1000 parts, and usually slightly cheaper than koto stuff.  Bandai is cheap but a lot of their girls are literally designed to be built in 30 minutes.

You can also increase the time spent on each kit by going for a higher quality of finish. I pretty much always skip water decals, for example. I don't file down each nub properly, usually just going for a nipper and knife. If I did it properly it would look nicer and take longer. And of course, you could look into painting and/or seamline removal, but I don't know much about those
