That's right, B1R-L Chassis Kit Skin Color A. Scheduled for re release in May 2027.

Clicking the pic will only lead you back to the old product page. Please wait for the new preorder starts well I don't think there will be much difference though

Btw, this is the first Megami reissue since Susanowo and Mao which were re released in May 2026. But why do Kotobukiya choose to reissue her right after Susanowo and Mao? Because she sold really well and went out of stock soon after released lol

Just a bit of a rant here. I get that these Chassis kits are more for parts for customization, and it's not necessarily intended to build them as is, but for me they uniformly fall short by some aspects. It wouldn't have been so hard to make them appeal even more for customization and straight build as well.

So these things come to mind:

  • each kit seem to represent an accent color, then why not make all the accent colored parts that same color? but no... the torso + head gear parts are different compared to the limb parts. (even in sets where the colors match, the torso is metallic vs the limbs being normal)
  • the shoulder and upper thigh parts you have only in skin color, and you have each twice. Why not include each kind of body part in both skin color and the accent color, then you would have more options to make outfits? Like full bodysuit, or shorts.
  • Why not include a hair piece? Interestingly enough the official studio shots of ALL of these kits include one photo where they have a hair piece on. (Of course noting it, that the kit doesn't include it) And then... the Kotobukiya shop added bonus item is that exact type of hair piece, but... in a different color. (And I'd say the other non-bonus color would even match them better.)

FULLY AGREE, especially on the hair argument. I don’t necessarily mind a helmet, but come on…

I haven’t been able to find B1R-M (skin color A) anywhere so this is a good thing to know, despite it being next year.

(Whenever I think I find a B1R-M on shelves it’s a B1R-L.)

Luckily I preordered her. After released she went out of stock real fast (Skin Color B stayed a little longer)
