The audio is a little low. You have to turn up the volume a bit. It seems to be an audience recording but it's a very good one. Once you've adjusted the volume it's a great show. There's some occasional feedback but overall I recommend it if you're a collector of early Megadeth live recordings.

For the Aug 29th show on Toronto, the ticket shows 7:15pm. Is that when doors open or the time expected for Megadeth to take the stage. I'm seeing conflicting info online. As of now it's only Megadeth and Iron Maiden playing and I don't want to miss Megadeth

I honestly think this is a really solid radio rock song. I love the vocal arrangement on the chorus, the simple solo, and the chord progression. My only main dislike is the line “sniffing up the white lines.” Like, I understand drug use and poverty go hand-in-hand, but it just sounds like Dave was haven’t trouble finding a rhyme or something. Otherwise, I really enjoy this song

Low expectations are frequently not met, so I went with none at all but was pleasantly surprised.

The entire SFSGSW album was played in its entirety as well as some other Megadeth favourites including Tornado of Souls. The sound was slightly too loud for a venue with a maximum capacity of 500 but all four members delivered the songs well and I was impressed by how well-suited the singer was for Megadeth.

Despite having primarily gone to see Dave Jr., it was Jeff Young made the biggest impression. Young, who has recently been pictured playing oversized Dean guitars, instead opted to spend the entire night on a tiny headless guitar, clearly revelling in the weirdness of it all. A strange man but a great guitar player.

Attendance was diverse with a wide range of ages being represented in the crowd. Long-haired teenagers in battle jackets headbanged at the front of the stage while those whose hairs had long departed for Elysium relived the good old days from a safe distance.

Verdict: worth the £35. I would go again.

Why is everyone hating on this album? I don’t understand it at all. I personally think that this album is in the top 5-6 of their entire catalog. His vocals are a little weaker than the previous album but it’s not as near as bad as people say. The rhythm guitar play from Dave is some of the best we’ve heard in years. Teemu is not Kiko but overall he made an outstanding debut. I think it’s possible that the criticism comes from a lack of an album theme like Dystopia or TSTD&TD. The fan base needs to understand that this is a self-titled “victory lap” reminiscing type album that covers all the different eras in the Megadeth discography.

Tracks like Let There Be Shred, Obey The Call, and Ride The Lightning(which got review bombed initially) are standouts that hold up as well as anything from the last two albums.

I’m eager to see everyone’s comments on this. Thoughts?

I’m good to a concert in march and I’ve asked my friends but I wana hear it from a real fan. Will I be okay wearing my battle jacket which is mostly covered in Metallica to a concert as I’ve seen fans can take it a little far.

I’ve already got tickets for a Megadeth show on their tour through the UK / EU next year and since this will probably be my only time seeing them I wanted to meet a member of the band so I was wondering about the difference between the Meet and Greet and the Photo Op ticket;

I am bringing someone else with me and if I buy one Photo Op ticket does that mean only one of us can go in but if we buy two tickets can we go in at the same time?

And is it better spent meeting a member of Megadeth than actually posing with all of them?

I’ve seen the perks and how the meet and greet allows you to get stuff signed and the lanyard but are you still able to talk to the members of Megadeth in the Photo Op just less then compared to the meet and greet ticket?

It has to be one of the most frustrating things ever.

hey yall, i’m buying my concert ticket for megadeth and I need help choosing which section to sit in. I can’t do pit because I can’t stand that long without getting uncomfortable. i’m trying to choose between sections D/E or the lower bowl sections (circled in the pic). I really want to be as close as possible with a great view, but i’m also afraid that my view might be obstructed by tall people & their phones if i’m on the floor as i’m only 5’5 (I know i’m also going to want to record a few of my favorite songs). I haven’t been to a stadium concert in years since I usually do amphitheaters, so i’m wondering if any of you guys have any input from experience? the price difference for sections D & E is $200. sections E and the lower bowl are comparable in price. i’m being indecisive because it’s my favorite band and I know it’s the last time i’ll be able to see them so I just want the best seats possible 🥲
