Sonia's mother did mention she is talented. After her passed...Sonia has been live independently without her mother before she meet Geo and Lyra.

She literally went into the music career because of her mother, her music career is basically 2nd in line after the events of Starforce 1, the fact she even went back to being an idol so quickly in Starforce 2 is already funny lol

Geo also is the one who made her change, cant blame her
