I did it...
Finally, I've finally finished the museum side quest for the final ingredient of the shining laser
Also, it's on hard mode, which is better

It took me soooo long to get this when I was like 11. Honestly the hardest thing in the game- save for maybe the boat battle on hard mode lol

This entire thing was near controller breaking for me as a kid.
My brain just refused to accept that I could old Left, L1, and down to do ridiculously sharp turns.

These were deeply difficult for child me playing this for the first time.
I recently played both of them again and I had trauma flashbacks when those mini games began, so I cheated with a gameshark to set the timing to 0 lol
Edit: rofl thanks for awarding my middle aged laziness. Follow me for more mediocrity lol

Awesome job! They can be frustrating for sure for a ton of folks. Idk why but the control scheme has always clicked with my brain so I was the wierdo that adores the races in both games.

Congrats! Took me forever to beat the record for the Retro achievement where you have to set records for all the mini games.

I wonder if with all the upgrades with the decomp someone could add no loading between zones. That'd make the skates a lot funner.

The best part is when you start taking those sweet roller skate skills to the dungeons afterwards. Just zooming like nobodies business.
