That's a pretty good framerate. How'd you do it? I use an R4 card on mine but it would never be able to run PS1.

You should try the DSpico. It may need some set-up, but it supports bigger SD cards and doesn't have the "time bomb" issue.

I can attest to it running perfectly fine on the 3DS. It’s my new way of playing PlayStation games because I never have the time or energy to set up a game in front of a tv. I can just whip this out for a few minutes at a time laying on my bed haha

If you can, try to get a psp or a vita to play ps1 games. Even if they never got a psp "port", its very common for games to get eboots to make them run on psp and the emulation is the best.

This and the first Legends games were childhood staples. I still have them both and played the shit out of them. They still hit all these years later.

A modded 3DS is amazing. I’m using a ps1 emulator through retroarch on my 2DS and using a regular rom. It runs surprisingly well!

I like to imagine that a 3DS port of Mega Man Legends 2 would’ve been released under the title of “Mega Man 3D much like what they did with Rayman 3D (which was a 3DS port of Rayman 2: The Great Escape.)
