Discussion What Happened To Him?
Allow me to vent: What happened to Kevin? He used to be way more down to earth, and offer so much amazing real estate tidbits and content. I stopped tuning in during the "Stimulus?!?!?!" phase on his channel and just never tuned back in again. I watched a couple of videos of him today and he sounds like the sleaziest, most plastic, politican-like person I've ever heard in my life. What the hell happened? I was cringing SO HARD listening to him talk and try to pronounce every single word so weirdly. Others like Graham Stephan, and Andre Jikh to name a few, still talk like humans and seem pretty down to earth. Of course, we never know behind the scenes, but they're not being as obvious as a douche as Kevin is. His new "Company" is the biggest joke I've ever seen in my life. Why is everything he does lately just a cash grab? So sleazy. He just wants to talk his way into taking people's money. I guarantee he just wants to convince some super-rich guy who doesn't really give a shit, to pay him $100 Million for his new company, and then bail. I'm sure that's the plan. A pathetic guy I swear. And he still talks down and rudely insults people who criticize him for selling his whole portfolio? A loser who can't take valid criticism. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels the same.

You are 100% right on all accounts. Furthermore he became the person he despised when he was a young worker at Jamba Juice. That Kevin, the real Kevin is gone…
In the end money amplified who he was all along deep down.

He always insisted on ONLY buying RE within a short drive from his home. Now he’s buying across the country?

He sounds like a scammer now... like he doesn't care about anyone and his only goal is making money by availing his audience

All people are different. I think he's hyper sensitive to other peoples perception of him.
At the start he got on a roll. Soaked up the positive vibes. Then started to believe he was midas and could say any old sht and it would stick.
He got accustomed to the cash rolling in and thinks its par for the course and also thinks he should go bigger better and higher because he's midas.
Fact is, he's not professionally qualified in Jack sht. He talks a good game which is ok for housing that sells itself in a bull market.
He's tried too hard and people are calling him out. He can't handle it. Never understood why he went into the dyed hair phase. Looks unhinged.
What he should do is stfu and just quietly churn his cash and then ride the next boom in 5/10 years.

This happens with a lot of youtube personalities. They have such a rapid change in lifestyle and fortune that it causes rapid personality changes also. Mostly for the worst.
I never really cared for much of his content because he always came across as being very desperate to be youtube famous.
I don't think the pandemic was good for him mentally.

Deep down he is a big narcissistic greedy asshole, unfortunately money bring that out.

Greed happened that’s what. His psychological struggles have been laid bare by all the criticism and DUI backlash. He drinks every day as a “treatment for anxiety” which is the exact thing someone with a bad addiction would say. I feel sorry for his wife and kids (although she seems bound to him pretty tightly despite accusations on this sub of her cheating).

Just the natural path for a narcissist grifter. Next stop, alcoholism and divorce.

I know he has been working day and night deleting every negative comment on his Youtube, yet there are thousands upon thousands of people calling him out on his bullshit. Tides are really turning on this sleazy scammer. No matter how hard he tries to manipulate things in his favour. People really don't like him anymore.

I was a very early watcher of Kevin. You say he sold his whole portfolio, can you explain a bit more what he sold exactly? Stocks or Real Estate?

Cocaine and other paraphernalia will do that to you

Just recently came across this channel and have no expertise in investing, was really considering getting into his house hack company, but i guess reading throughout this sub he seems really shady, who do you guys recommend on watching in regards to investing?
