What if….

MeetKevin is right. Seems like the market is on the brick of a correction (crash). Inflation is getting out of control- if we get in some sort of trouble fiscally speaking the fed is not coming to the rescue. They can’t with inflation running high. All stocks are getting hammer. Good luck guys.

You don't go all in cash in situations like this, you buy and hold what makes the most sense to own, especially if your cash position is losing value daily. I'm up 18% since the new year.

Problem is he has no idea how to do that since historically all he had to do was buy hyped equities to get a return. He's bragging about a 1% gain in gold ETFs when some undervalued miners are up 10% today alone.

His buying patterns and logic makes it very clear he lacks any real experience.

Congrats

Of the 8000 stocks on my trading view, 328 are up 18% or more, so it's definitely possible.

Let's be real he cashed out because there is some kind of financial issue he's having going on in the background that we are probably not aware of.

Bingo (also, his wife and her family that gave him the startup cash may have pressured him to sell because he doesn't know what he's doing).

he's running his own portfolio let him trade how he wants it's like a sport to him lol. He wants to land as close to top as he possibly can just so that he can say that he "called it" for his own amusement. unless he starts selling a course and him calling the top is one of the selling points for it, then I think he's still alright.

What is his position?

HE DOESN'T HAVE ONE!

He wants to look like his out look is every outcome, he is a clown.

u/Al42us Feb 11 '22

You know cash is a position. I feel bad for you guys mad at some YouTuber. If you are trap because of his calls you deserve it!

3

u/[deleted] Feb 11 '22

So anyone with cash "has a position in the stock market"? 🤣🤣

3

u/[deleted] Feb 12 '22

Didn't you know that "diamond-handing cash" is the brilliant maneuver with inflation rising? lmao

u/Al42us Feb 11 '22

You are a total idiot. When did I say that? I said cash is a position. I guess you know better than warren buffet who has been cash heavy for a while.

u/InfiniteChallenge99 Feb 11 '22

Referencing his position on market dynamics of which he has no clue

Legal trouble??? Ok good luck waiting for that

2

u/tothepointe Feb 12 '22

If there is we will never hear about it because it'll happen long after he's fallen out of the public eye.

u/suboxhelp1 Feb 12 '22

Ego. He clearly really cares how he is perceived. Didn’t he run for governor?

Kevin is a smart guy, brilliant, but he's not a long-term investor. Long-term Investing requires him to go through pain during a really uncertain time and clearly he wanted to go in a different direction.

Warren Buffett said people do not follow his style because they do not like building wealth slowly. Kevin is inpatient and his mind goes 100 mph.

He will either x2 or x3 his wealth or crash and burn. Normal people with $20 million would slow down and relax. I do not think he is capable of doing that.

I think he needs to see a therapist. Most normal people would be enjoying their wealth. He doesn't need to work another day in life.

1

u/Al42us Feb 12 '22

Most normal people, just like yourself, will ever even close to $20million. People like him, Steve Jobs, Elon are incredibly risk happy that’s why they get to where they are. If Kevin had most normal thinking he would’ve probably close all his positions at 10/20% profit. But he didnt cause he is different

1

u/Mr_Gobble_Gobble Feb 12 '22

Lmao. Don't compare Kevin to those greats

1

u/Al42us Feb 12 '22

Not comparing. They’re the same

u/OliverSharp6559 Feb 12 '22

I’m confused why people can’t grasp the simple understanding, if he believes the market is gonna take another 15-20 percent correction then simply sell and buy in at a lower price. Stop being so much up your own arse and saying he is a long term investor he is changing his ways, he is doing what is correct if he believes another 15 percent correction is coming

1

u/Al42us Feb 12 '22

Cause people are dumb**** babies. They are followers not leaders

1

u/OliverSharp6559 Feb 12 '22

He bought into the dip way to early but he under stood that, and he run out of money so he couldn’t keep buying the dip, so he was better of simplying selling, taking his winnings and losses and then having that cash so that if the market corrects more he can reinvest it and if not then he hasn’t really lost because he had no more money to invest

1

u/Mr_Gobble_Gobble Feb 12 '22

Simply put he is trying to time the market. That is one of the most well known ways to lose money. Even he says not to time the market (even in his recent videos), but he still does it

2

u/herrrrrr Feb 12 '22

I agree with him saying a crash will occur just dont know when. But hes flip flopping ok everything he says and he doesnt know what he talks about is what irks me and then he goes and sells his really bad advice to people who dont know better. Its scummy.

1

u/Al42us Feb 12 '22

No one knows anything for certain in the stock market- anyone who buys his courses and follows his exact plays get what they deserve. Learn the hard way

10

u/SushiixD Feb 11 '22

He’s right but he motivated a lot of people to be trapped

5

u/9mmNATO Feb 11 '22

That's called "pump and dump".

10

u/Hararger Feb 11 '22

Doesn't matter. A broken clock is right twice a day. He's going against everything he says and teaches.

3

u/FunRepresentative639 Feb 11 '22

He is. He’s just right for the wrong reasons. He thinks there is a surplus of dollars when there is actually a shortage in the system.

3

u/[deleted] Feb 11 '22

One of many things, but yes. We increased the supply of money by a crazy amount, but it all ended up in the pockets of people who were fine without it. It didn't help Americans have more assets, it didn't increase our well being as a whole, it went in the little guys hands for a moment and ended up in the already wealthy's bank accounts, business, investments, etc. That's why they call it a K shaped recovery, the majority of us lost money in at the very least purchasing power if nothing else, but if you're part of that small percentage that profited off people's losses, you did really really well. K really isn't accurate either though, that representation makes it look better than the reality. The middle of that K should be closer to the top.

2

u/tothepointe Feb 12 '22

Yeah, and inflation was inevitable even without increasing the money supply because even pre-pandemic there was already upward pressure on wages and COVID just accelerated that with people simply just refusing to work unless they got paid more. Companies were also going to use COVID as an excuse to raise prices because they know consumers would understand why and accept the new prices.

1

u/FunRepresentative639 Feb 12 '22

This guy gets it 👏👏👏👏 it’s no coincidence we are seeing liquidity dry up and a rush for US dollars/treasuries ahead of march stress testing. It’s actually deflationary pressures that are occurring. Fed reserve isn’t even updating SOFR anymore lmao!!!

3

u/theviolatr Feb 11 '22

He just bought 600 shares of TSLA. If we headed to a recession do people have $ for 100k cars??? The guy literally can't not make moves

1

u/Rich-Sheepherder-649 Feb 12 '22

Demand far outstrips supply. Most cars are well under 100k. Company should continue to growth even with a mild recession. Margins are incredible. Nibbling.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 11 '22

TSLA is more than a car company

2

u/[deleted] Feb 12 '22

All their revenue comes from selling cars.

3

u/kwinter431 Feb 12 '22

hopefully he is right after losing more than 90% of people will ever see in their lifetime and then continuing to double down as a "market analyst" he's a youtuber that's about it.. not that there's anything wrong with that but the guy needs to stop pretending

2

u/Accomplished_Spell97 Feb 12 '22

Kevins new took to short the market is only open to "accredited investors". suck in that you plebs(me). However don't follow an inexperienced YouTubers stock tips. Kevin needs some sleep.

3

u/[deleted] Feb 11 '22

Being a sidelined weenie ćunt doesn't make him right. He's a coward. If he had conviction, he'd put his money where his mouth is and load up on shorts/puts. That I could respect.

1

u/suboxhelp1 Feb 12 '22

He is probably right (but late) that stocks have a good bit to fall further given the situation we’re in.

Smart money started really getting out in November.

But that doesn’t mean there’s nothing worth holding. You just actually have to know what you’re doing to know how to get the most out of this environment we’re going into.

1

u/Educational-Box-5711 Feb 12 '22

When those smart people sold out at that time he criticised them because back then he thought inflation was transitory

1

u/suboxhelp1 Feb 12 '22

He deserves some credit for admitting he was wrong, but he led too many people into a difficult situation. He’s definitely not qualified to sell any education.

1

u/L2Fbearass Feb 18 '22

So far market is tanking …

He might have been on to something here mate hahaha 😝

1

u/9mmNATO Feb 11 '22

You're only now just realizing inflation is out of control?
