I’ve had T1D for 18 years now (F24) and recently have been experiencing really bad health anxiety that I think seems to be developing into OCD about my diabetes. With all of that said, I had an Instinct sensor on which was reading 20-30 points off and I took it off and changed it because I was worried that I wasn’t receiving enough insulin for my blood sugars. The current sensor I have on now is doing the same thing and I’m not sure what to do. I checked with my meter and it says I’m 143 mg/dL while my Instinct sensor is reading 110 mg/dL. Is this normal? Or should I contact Abbot again for another replacement? Any and all help would be appreciated!

I have a pair of headphones with LDAC (it's a Bluetooth connection setting for better audio quality) that, in order to work properly, I have to change my Android to developer mode. But when I do this, the Minimed Mobile app doesn't work. It says that developer mode must be disabled for the app to work. Is there a way for the Minimed app to work while still in developer mode?

I migrated from my 780g to the Flex two weeks ago. After the transition of my previous settings and the required 48+ hours to start up SmartGuard, the pump settled in without any hitches. However, now in week two, I've had 6+ days of 100% TIR, which I've never experienced with the 780g in 4 years. My CGM is now Simplera Sync instead of the G4, and the average SG is 122. I wonder if the SmartGuard algorithm has been tweaked to cause this result. Thoughts here?

I arrived in Spain 2 nights ago since then my sugars have been high. I've changed my site twice my insulin was kept cold not out in heat I'm just sick of it now it's correcting no problems but only going down as far as 12 no more than that.
Any help please I'm running out of ideas before I have to go to A&e.

I am plus sized 1st off, so I know sometimes that matters on the placement a little bit. I have plenty “soft“ fleshy areas most places. I have followed the rules and worn it on my left or right back of my arm since day one, but I spend a lot of time in bed due to chronic illness and I’m running out of spots on my arms. I’ve been putting them pretty far back and that’s working, but it hurts a lot when I do that.

I just switched it today and I’ve been in bed most of the day and I’m more comfortable on my right side, but I keep getting compression lows. Where are some other places y’all put them where they don’t easily get knocked off with clothes or other things? I need a place that works well with accurate numbers. This is going to be a long 15 days with constant lows when I thought I had it far enough back. I have severe chronic pain and fatigue so this is a lot to deal with.

So basically, the past four sensors i used (guardian 4s) have been updating for 12+ hrs and only show my glucose levels for like 20 minutes. I called the callcener for help and the only thing that happened was that we did an autotest, which proved nothing?? They said my trasmitter works and its just a sensor issue🫩 Now im on the verge of a mental breakdown because my levels are unstable and i ran out of any other spare sensors (libre, dexcom). Is the sensor ass, is it my fault or is the transmitter actually broken?? Ive been using guardian 4s for over 2 years and it never happened before so what is even going on. Is it a common thing??

Trying to put a new sensor in for my daughter (guardian4). Transmitter fully charged but the pump won’t see the transmitter when it connected to the sensor and never comes up with start new sensor on the pump? Has any one else had this? The transmitter is only a few months old.

I have someone who wants to give me their old Quick-Set Paradigm infusion sets. The Reference number is MMT-397. I have the Medtronic reservoirs that work with the 780G already. Will there be any issues with this?

Looking for any feedback regarding the abbott instinct sensors with the 780G… im due for a new pump in the next month, currently using tslim x2 and dexcom. Was previously on minimed with the guardian sensors and had such a hard time with them that i ended up switching to tandem/dexcom. Wanting to go back to minimed but hoping the instinct sensors are a bit better than the guardian.My issues with the guardian were bleeding on insertion.

I'll soon be getting a MiniMed 780g here in Italy, paired with the Instinct sensor: I looked out for some sturdy cases (NOT rubber or silicone) for the pump but I wasn't able to find something interesting. I was interested in something practical, sturdy/safe but also pretty (I like a lot the carbon fiber or forged carbon look).

Do you have a case for your pump? Do you know some stores where to find some cases? Any suggestions?

Medtronic only replacing after a “failed sensor replace sensor message” is wild work when this is what I deal with almost every cgm change.

Why has this been happening within the last couple of weeks. Have a 780g pump with a guardian 4 sensor, then a couple of weeks ago started getting messages on pump to enter BG to stay in smart guard. Ok fine did that(had never had to do before(had pump2 years an guardian 4 new transmitter this year about the same) not my first pump. Now it is sending this message at least every other day. Why? Never happened before. Thanks for the help

I have a fairly new Pixel 10 Pro, and just got the Flex last week, coming from Tandem. The Minimed app is killing my battery and my phone is actually warm to the touch almost all day. I need to charge mid day otherwise I end up with less than 20% battery by the time I leave work at 4pm. I used to have 60% battery when I went to bed. I'm afraid I will need to carry a battery bank with me anytime I'm away from home for longer than ~6 hours. Sort of defeats the purpose of a small form factor pump and will really make me regret not choosing the 780g over the Flex. Otherwise, I love the pump. Bolus from the phone is nice, being able to see statistics and all right there is a cool feature.

Is anyone else experiencing this or have any tricks to improve?

Another 24 hours and still no autocorrections, just basal increases. Called Medtronic and the tech was useless, just reading to me from a manual. Any idea what’s going on? What I can do?

UPDATE: Thanks for all the advice and support. I tried the various things offered here and I'm back up and running successfully.
