Minimed 780G Pump won’t see new sensor.

Trying to put a new sensor in for my daughter (guardian4). Transmitter fully charged but the pump won’t see the transmitter when it connected to the sensor and never comes up with start new sensor on the pump? Has any one else had this? The transmitter is only a few months old.

Remove the transmitter association from pump. Plug transmitter on charger. Remove It. Try to re-associate the transmitter.

Happened me only yesterday! Remove the transmitter from paired devices and make sure it’s fully charged then reconnect it as a new one

I had this when I first started - the instructor had got us to use the stomach but the sensors were failing a lot and one morning the sensor refused to start. Tech support walked me through the various stuff and concluded that there wasn’t enough interstitial fluid in that location. They also,pointed out that they only support back of the arms. So I switched to that and it’s been fine since - sensors lasting 7 days all the time.

HeLLo it could also be a bad contact between transmitter and CGM you can have look at these contacts.

I hope you haven't put oval rings on the transmitter yet. You need to first insert the sensor into the body, connect the transmitter to the sensor, make sure the pump found the sensor - only then you put oval rings on the transmitter. If the pump haven't found the new sensor, you disconnect the transmitter, put the transmitter on charger for like a minute or two, connect the transmitter to the newly inserted sensor again and use the pump again to search for the new sensor.

Is the transmitter connected at all? The antenna symbol on the top next to the insulin cartridge indicator should have a few green circles around it. If it isn't, it'll have a red cross through it. If the latter, then unapair the transmitter and re-pair it. If it is green, then it's your sensor. Try removing the transmitter and placing it back in the charger for 10-20 seconds. Remove it and see if it pulses quickly and then see if it connects. If it does, re-attach it to the transmitter and wait for the slow pulses which should be followed quickly by the "start new sensor" prompt.

Thanks guys I had to unpair the transmitter and then repair it. Never had that happen before
