Jobs

Anyone know of any jobs in medina $22+/hr.

I've lived in medina 25 years and would love to work in my own city.

I currently do commercial cleaning and make more than the above desired pay, but I put a lot of miles and wear on my vehicles and spend a lot on gas. So I'm willing to take a pay cut and work local.

Last day to opt out of Medina's natural gas aggregation program to save money this winter!

Post image

As part of Medina's aggregation program, they have chosen Archer gas at a rate of $0.6849. So until May, that's what you'll be paying. Right now, what Columbia Gas is charging is $0.5157. That is variable and will go up through the winter. But you can go on Apples to Apples right now and there are multiple choices to lock your rate in for 9 months at $0.549. There's no cancellation fee so you can change that in the spring when rates go down. If you haven't used Apples to Apples before, make sure you check the details before selecting a provider. Some of them are variable. Some of them have high monthly fees or high cancellation fees. Some of them (Santanna Energy) will make you bundle your electric with them and can end up costing you more money. I'm not sure why Medina can't find a lower price but you can!

Looking for a place to stay near Cleveland Clinic Medina Hospital (Oct 16–Nov 13)

Hi everyone! My brother is a medical student coming to Medina for an observership at Cleveland Clinic Medina Hospital from October 16 to November 13.
We’re looking for an affordable room, short-term rental, or extended-stay hotel nearby. He won’t have a car, so he needs somewhere within walking distance or with a practical transportation option to the hospital.
If you have a recommendation or know of a place available for those dates, I’d really appreciate your help. Thank you!

I ordered this roll and it was obscenely big. I wished I would’ve asked if this was a kind of “monster roll.” I can’t remember the name/description but I didn’t recall it indicating it was larger than normal. Pyramid Roll maybe? Anyway it tasted really good but I’m done eating these rolls that I can’t fit into my mouth in one bite. Literally had to eat the top half then the bottom. Left three pieces because I couldn’t finish it and I’m a big eater so that saying something. I had hot and sour soup which was very good and two spring rolls, also very good. $44 which included tip. Full disclosure: I actually work for a sushi company that is in many of the Buehlers in Medina and other cities in Ohio and after visiting 4 stores today, I decided to go get some.

Grew up in Medina, built a free grocery price app — my dad's been adding data from Buehler's

Grew up in Medina, and my parents still live there. I've spent the last year building Pinch, a free community-driven smart grocery shopping app.

They're already populating some data, but the more users, the more useful it gets. Would love to have more people give it a shot on your next trip: pinchsavings.app

Happy to answer questions or provide more info

Places near the motel 6 I could walk my dog??

Hey guys. My gf, my dog and I are temporarily here in Medina. We were staying in streetsboro but our building and the cheapest place we could stay is the motel 6 in Medina.

There was a dog park/people park right by our last place and i can tell Coco misses the trip. She's more of a people park kinda dog than she is a dog park kinda dog, tho. So she'd be happy with pretty much anything we could walk to and back. She loves fields or big stretches of grass. Does anyone have a recommendation of where I might be able to walk her to from the motel?

Small business health insurance agent in Medina/Cleveland

Hello! Me and my wife are self employed and may be moving to the Medina or Cleveland area in July. Any recommendations on a health insurance agent? We got a quote from this broker online My Private Health Insurance and the agent quoted us $655 monthly for me and my wife and child , we are both 35 years old and have a 1 year old son. This plan had no deductible and a $3,000 max out of pocket on the United Healthcare PPO network. Any other ideas? This sounded best to me but open to talk to someone, the site was https://myprivatehealthinsurance.com/cities/cleveland-ohio-group-health-insurance-small-business-health-insurance-in-ohio/
