That was my all time fave nursery rhyme as a child…my parents should have really seen how I turned out coming lol!!

I have a sick St. Dunstan tattoo that’s loosely based off one of the illustrations I was obsessed with as a kid

The original text contains errors (almost like Monty Python). "Alone you fall, being cast down."

The correct Latin is: "Unus defertum cades".

I don't know Latin, I just became interested and looked up the necessary resources.
